Brand Photography in Wilmslow: Meet Claire Geddes, CG Counselling & Coaching

As a Cheshire brand photographer, I get to work with some genuinely remarkable founders, and Claire Geddes is one of them. When I photographed Claire in her Wilmslow counselling practice, it was clear how much warmth and steadiness she brings into a room, exactly the quality that makes clients feel safe enough to open up. We wanted her brand images to reflect that: approachable, grounded, and entirely her.

Claire is the founder of CG Counselling & Coaching, based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, where she works with women navigating complex, often draining relationships, particularly those shaped by having a narcissistic or emotionally immature mother. She believes that with the right support, it's possible to find real clarity in understanding what you've experienced and how it's still shaping your life today.

Claire sees clients in her Wilmslow home practice and online across the UK. Her clients tend to be intelligent, thoughtful, outwardly successful women who privately feel overwhelmed, stuck, or depleted within their relationships. If you recognise yourself in that, always overextending, struggling to set boundaries, feeling guilty the moment you put your own needs first, you're exactly who she works with.

She brings a huge amount of lived experience to this work. Now in her mid-fifties, Claire has worked in the corporate world, raised three children, and spent 18 years as an expat following her husband's career through the Czech Republic, Denmark, Switzerland, Russia, and Canada. Before training as a counsellor, she worked as a coach helping clients with confidence, career, purpose, and identity.

Her approach is warm, curious, openminded, and deeply respectful of every client's individuality. Claire feels strongly that it is never too late to turn things around. If you've been impacted by a narcissistic parent or partner, she can help you heal, rebuild, and make the most of what's ahead.
